Designing the Brand Identity of Rhum Agricole Appreciateur

Rhum Agricole Appreciateur is a private club founded by two enthusiasts based in Barcelona. Their ambition: to unite an international community around rhum agricole, share unique discoveries, and embody Caribbean culture within the premium spirits universe.
Challenge
How to design a distinctive and unifying visual identity that conveys both the world of sugarcane and rhum agricole, while reinforcing the club’s premium positioning — already recognized for its authenticity and selectiveness?
Mission
To create a complete and practical brand board that leaves a lasting impression before delighting the palate, translating the premium and convivial universe of The Appreciator into the world of rhum agricole.
Actions
• Developed a visual universe inspired by sugarcane and rhum agricole aesthetics
• Designed the logo and its variations
• Selected a bold and distinctive color palette (#7ED957, black, white)
• Chose modern, premium typefaces suitable for both digital and print use
• Delivered a clear and functional brand board: logos, colors, fonts, and application examples (merchandising, social media, visuals)
Results
A strong, coherent, and unifying brand identity that sets the club apart in the premium spirits world, streamlines its graphic deployment, and reinforces its legitimacy. A visual image that captures attention at the shows and events of the sector, unites the community, and leaves a memorable mark — even before the first sip of rhum.
After creating the identity of Nippon Whisky Appreciateur, I was asked to bring a new project to life: developing the brand identity of Rhum Agricole Appreciateur, an international premium club dedicated to an exceptional spirit born from sugarcane.
