Born from a passion for Japan, this SME offers a curated selection of authentic Japanese products, serving both private customers and Europe’s most Michelin-starred tables. Despite rapid growth, the company had not yet structured its marketing efforts.
Challenge
How to strengthen the premium image of a high-end Japanese food distributor — already well established in the B2B world of Michelin-starred restaurants across Europe — while boosting B2C growth on the international stage?
Mission
To design custom tools and communication materials, optimize both the French and international websites with strong SEO to make them more consistent and digestible, and create a newsletter.
Actions
I guided Issé Japan in defining its branding and optimizing its e-commerce platforms through a comprehensive strategic and operational approach:
• Applied the visual identity consistently, based on the existing logo
• Designed multilingual communication tools and materials aligned with the premium brand image (custom tape, branded thank-you cards for parcels)
• Created a B2C newsletter to promote the launch of a new product range
• Optimized website SEO: streamlined content across both sites (French and international), wrote product sheets (including sake) and web pages, developed a blog from existing content, produced new blog articles, and translated approx. 36,000 words for the multilingual site (French, English, Spanish)
Results
A more consistent and reinforced premium brand image, enhanced customer experience and B2B communication, increased website traffic and leads (including B2B), and international B2C sales growth… All without speaking Japanese, but by perfecting the details that make all the difference in a high-end positioning.
